Public Folder Permissions

This is a list of commands to View, Add, and Remove permissions to a public folder in Exchange 2007 using the Shell Commands.

To add permissions to a public folder.

Add-PublicFolderClientPermission -Identity “(Folder Name)” -AccessRights (ListOfItems) -User “(username)”

To View what permissions exist on a public folder.

Get-PublicFolderClientPermission -Identity “(Folder Name)”

To Remove a permission from a public folder.

Remove-PublicFolderClientPermission -Identity “(Folder Name)” -AccessRights (Rights To Remove) -User “(username)”

Microsoft Exchange 2007 Remove Disconnected Mailboxes

Remove Mailboxes that are disconnected

Get the User name and the Unique ID of the mailbox of the disconnected mailboxes.
“get-mailboxstatistics | where-object {$_.disconnectdate -ne $null} | Select DisplayName,MailboxGuid”

List of the Databases in Server.
“get-mailboxstatistics | where-object {$_.disconnectdate -ne $null} | Select Database

Enter the full path of the exchange database and the Mailbox UID
“remove-mailbox -Database “EXCHANGE_DATABASE” -StoreMailboxIdentity MAILBOXUID”
